HR Generalist
    Are you an HR Generalist looking for an environment that allows you to be creative and innovative with best practices? Do you have strong employee relations experience? The McIntyre Group is looking for an HR Generalist for a privately owned company in Connecticut. You will be a resource for the HR department, lending your expertise and exposing you to compensation and benefits, recruitment, and the full cycle process of HR. The HR Generalist will report to the COO/CFO.
Responsibilities:
  • Function as the Subject Matter Expert for HRMS including system configuration, testing and on-going administration
  • Data input and maintenance of appropriate documentation in HRMS for new hires, active employees and terminated employees
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee and organizational information
  • Perform data audits, analyze data proactively and on request in support of HR initiatives
  • Develop standardized and ad hoc reports to support daily HR operations and performance
  • Maintain compliant and accurate retention of employee files
  • Benefits administration - Work closely with insurance carriers, investigate employee issues, troubleshoot and facilitate resolutions
  • Processing of new hire paperwork and assisting in the onboarding process
  • Maintenance of employee files hard copy and electronic
  • Annual benefits open enrollment
  • Performance review process, correspondence
  • Scheduling candidate interviews and other meetings, etc
  • Assist with HR special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
  • 8-10 years solid HRMS/HRIS administration experience with a focus in the following areas:
  • HR reporting and data management
  • Benefits Administration and On-boarding
  • Knowledge of current employment laws and regulations governing HR matters
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
