    Outside Sales Representative
Summary:
    Do you thrive in the sales of advertising? An Outside Sales Representative is needed to maximize potential advertising sales in assigned markets and categories through the use of new and existing products. Please read the requirements below and submit your resume!
Responsibilities:
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
  • Work with larger businesses such as hospitals, banks, etc.
  • Book appointments for advertising manager, and other personnel within the business
  • Work with advertising manager on any shortfalls to determine strategies to overcome them
  • Work with existing or new customers either by phone or in person to determine their needs, match them with advertising formats, products, and present pricing structure
  • Continually generate new leads by making cold calls, call inactive accounts, and maintain an awareness of new businesses opening in designated areas
  • Prepare presentations to conduct to new and prospective customers, these presentations should convey market research, competition, products and pricing, this should help the customer make an informative decision
  • Timely updates on sales activity and feedback on products and services should be sent to advertising manager
  • Recommend new products and sales promotions to advertising manager
  • Adhere to deadlines
  • Respond to all customer concerns in a timely manner
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Attend community and professional events as necessary
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Organized and efficient, all deadlines must be met
  • Excellent math skills are a plus, to compute price quotas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
