    Production / Supply Chain Inventory Analyst
Summary:
    The McIntyre Group is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for one of our established, lower Fairfield County clients. As the global leader in our field, this position is responsible for determining and planning the resources needed to meet requirements. The role monitors inventory levels to ensure adequate levels of inventory are maintained. The successful candidate will be also be responsible for reviewing and recommending the parts needed to support or manufacturer the product lines.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Operations Team and Client Services to determine and plan the resources needed to meet requirements
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels
  • Use blueprints to determine the specifications for the needed inventory to support or manufacture the product lines
  • Requisitions required resources and monitors scheduled deliveries from/to vendors
  • Expedite materials from/to vendors when there are delays in delivery or unscheduled resource demands
  • Updating departmental worksheets and data bases, including Excel planning sheets and a manufacturing information system
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years' experience in supply chain
  • Associates Degree or equivalent in business, supply chain or APICS certification preferred
  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Manufacturing Data Management Systems ERP, SAP, MRP
  • Previous experience at managing inventory databases
  • Strong Spreadsheet and Data Base proficiency
  • Previous experience working with handheld digital devices and the cultural industry desirable
  • Experience working with international teams in Europe and Asia
  • Experience at building strong relationships with third party vendors
