Spin Odyssey 2008
Dear McIntyre Associate,
Over the past years, The McIntyre Group has played an active role in recruiting volunteers for a homegrown charitable event called SpinOdyssey. If you are not familiar with SpinOdyssey, it is a fundraising event that has raised OVER $1,000,000 in total for The American Cancer Society’s Breast Cancer Research program. This year, once again, we are delighted to play an active role in this amazing event which will take place at the Fitness and Tennis Club located in Norwalk, CT, on Sunday, March 2nd 2008.
SpinOdyssey is an indoor cycling event that spans over 6 hours where participants can ride on Spin Bikes anywhere from one hour to six hours in a collaborated effort to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. On Sunday, March 2nd 2008, we are coming together as “Team McIntyre” to assist with rider support. As you are an integral part of The McIntyre Group, we invite you to join forces with Team McIntyre to make SpinOdyssey 2008 another triumphant year. As you can imagine, the riders will need a great deal of fluid and nutritional replenishment. As a volunteer you can assist handing out beverages, snacks, manning the registration desk, coat check or other countless (and invaluable) important roles.
Know that without volunteers, this event would not occur. This is actually a 100% volunteer-run event and YOU are a vital part of what makes SpinOdyssey possible! Your time, effort, and dedication are greatly needed, and much appreciated!
