Leslie McIntyre-Tavella opened the doors to the first McIntyre office in September 1986 in Greenwich, CT. At the age of 22, Leslie served as Founder, Owner and President of the company. Armed with an entrepreneurial spirit and an eagerness to combine her love of sales & marketing with human resources, Leslie’s first McIntyre office provided temporary and permanent administrative staffing to local corporations. McIntyre quickly established itself as a leader in the staffing industry and began to cultivate its long-standing reputation for superior service, quality and high standards. As successful years of growth followed, company expansion began and new recruiting and staffing divisions were added, such as Accounting, Finance, Financial Services, Creative Services and Information Technology.
With headquarters now located in Norwalk, CT., The McIntyre Group is proud to be celebrating 21 years in business, and Leslie continues as the President and driving force of the company. Her vision and guidance over the years have successfully led the firm through many economic cycles, business changes and innovative ideas. Her personal touch is evident in every facet of The McIntyre Group, and today the company continues to represent her determination and insistence on high quality service and integrity.
The recipient of many accolades and industry awards over the years, most recently The McIntyre Group was named “One of the Best Places to Work in CT” in 2007 and 2006. In addition, The McIntyre Group was named one of the Top 25 Women-Owned Businesses in CT in 2005.
With sights set to the future, Leslie is focused on staying at the forefront of industry trends and remains as passionate today about creating innovative business solutions for her many loyal clients and customers, as she was when McIntyre first opened its doors.
